Is this plugin free?
Yes, the plugin is completely free. Copyident service is also free to use – they only take a commission if they successfully recover money for copyright infringement on your behalf.
Do I need WooCommerce?
No, WooCommerce is optional. Without it, you can still use Media Library uploads, Posts and Pages image uploads, and all upload history features.
What happens when stolen images are found?
Copyident will notify you of any matches. You can then decide whether to pursue the matter. Their legal partner RIGHTS-DEFEND can assist with enforcement if needed.
Is my data safe?
The plugin only sends image URLs to Copyident when you explicitly click upload. No data is sent automatically. Your images remain on your server – only the URLs are registered for monitoring.
